Perpetual Care
Woodlawn Cemetery has been built on a foundation of long-term stewardship and financial stability. Since 1911, a dedicated Perpetual Care Fund has helped ensure the cemetery remains a beautiful, peaceful place of remembrance for generations to come. Today, 25% of every lot and niche sale is deposited into this fund, where the principal remains untouched and only the investment income is used to support ongoing maintenance.
This commitment allows Woodlawn to provide continuous care for its grounds, including the upkeep of lawns, trees, landscaping, roads, and memorial areas. Families can take comfort in knowing that the final resting place of their loved ones will continue to receive thoughtful care and preservation well into the future.
Coumbariums
As more families choose cremation, Woodlawn Cemetery is proud to offer beautifully maintained columbariums that provide a permanent and dignified resting place for cremated remains. Each columbarium contains 96 individual niches, with space designed to accommodate a single urn, two individual urns, or one companion urn.
The purchase of a niche includes opening and closing services, as well as the engraving of names and dates. More than simply a place of interment, a columbarium provides families with a lasting memorial where loved ones can be remembered, honored, and visited for generations.
Cremation is one step in the memorial process, and Woodlawn believes every family deserves a dedicated place for remembrance, reflection, and perpetual care.
Flower Fund
The Woodlawn Cemetery Flower Fund provides families with a simple way to ensure the gravesite of a loved one is beautifully remembered throughout the year. A one-time contribution is invested, with the interest used to provide seasonal floral arrangements for years to come.
Through the Flower Fund, spring urn arrangements and Christmas wreaths are placed at the gravesite each year without requiring additional arrangements from family members. This service offers peace of mind, knowing that a thoughtful tribute will continue to honor your loved one for years to come.

Monument Sales
Choosing a monument or marker is an important part of preserving a loved one’s memory. Woodlawn Cemetery proudly recommends Rausch Bros. Monument Co., represented by Brittani Frederick, to assist families in selecting a memorial that reflects their wishes and honors those they love.
Appointments can be scheduled through the cemetery office, either on-site or in the comfort of your home, to discuss monument styles, materials, lettering, and personalization options. Families receive knowledgeable guidance throughout the selection process to help create a meaningful and lasting tribute.
As an added benefit, any financial compensation received by Woodlawn Cemetery through monument sales is directed back into the Perpetual Care Fund, helping preserve the beauty and long-term care of the cemetery for future generations.
